THE CHIEF DEPUTY U.S.A. MARSHAL & TWO ASSISTANT CHIEF DEPUTY MARSHALS WERE PLACED ON LEAVE FOR FOR "SERIOUS MISCONDUCT"

Three U.S. Marshals Service officials working out of the District's Superior Court have been placed on administrative leave following allegations of misconduct, the agency disclosed Thursday.
The Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal and two assistant chief deputy U.S. Marshals working in the D.C. Superior Court office are on administrative leave indefinitely while “serious misconduct allegations” are investigated, according to spokesman Dave Oney. Though the agency issued a statement on the internal investigations on Thursday, it was not immediately clear when the marshals were suspended.
The Department of Justice Office of Inspector General is also involved in the investigation. No further information was available.
