Senger officially launches campaign for Congress - Illinois Review
NAPERVILLE - At a press conference this morning in Naperville, State. Rep. Darlene Senger officially launched her campaign for Congress.
“Only through change in Washington and by changing our congressman, will we be able to restore hope and opportunity,” said Senger. “My over 20 years of service to our community on behalf of taxpayers, families, and seniors has given me insight into the concerns, challenges and issues we all face.”
Senger explained her campaign platform as job creation, Social Security protection, improved educational opportunities, and reducing the size of government.
In a press release, the State Rep. noted: “We are fortunate to have the potential for a world-class technology corridor in our community, and we should be providing an environment in which our manufacturing sector can grow and expand, but only if we stop politicians and bureaucrats from over-regulating, over-taxing and just flat out killing new jobs here at home. We can become one of the most economically innovative and diverse regions in the nation but only if we all work together to change the nonsense coming out of Washington.”
Senger has lived in Naperville for 20 years and before that resided in Clarendon Hills. She is a graduate of Purdue University and received her MBA from DePaul University. She has two adult children, Eric and Michelle.
Senger is running against Chris Balkema and Ian Bayne in the Republican Primary election.
